Summer Training
Skate Canada PEI is pleased to share summer skating opportunities available in Prince Edward Island.
Summer training opportunities may vary from year to year and may be offered by clubs, club-led groups, or other skating partners connected to the Skate Canada PEI community. Not all clubs offer summer programming each season. When information is shared with Skate Canada PEI, we will post it here to help members learn about available opportunities across the Island.

Current PEI Summer Training Opportunity
Island Skating Academy
The Island Skating Academy is operated by members of Skate Canada PEI clubs and provides off-season skating programs for PEI skaters. The program is designed to support Islanders who would like to continue training in late spring and summer.
Programs may include:
- STARSkate
- Podium Pathway
- CanSkate
- PowerSkate
- Adult Skate
The Island Skating Academy welcomes skaters from across PEI, as well as visiting skaters who may wish to continue training while on the Island.
Group lessons are included at all levels, and private lesson coaches are welcome.
Summer programming usually runs from late April into August and concludes with the PEI Summer Invitational for skaters from STAR 2 through Senior Podium Pathway in Singles skating.

Looking for Summer Training in PEI?
Summer opportunities may be available both on and off the Island, depending on the skater’s goals and training needs. Skate Canada PEI encourages members to review available options and speak with their coach and home club when planning summer training.
